Moto G 2nd Gen launched for ₹ 12,999/£145/$179

Moto G 2nd Gen after many leaks is now official. Moto G 2nd Gen launched in India, USA and UK for a price of ₹ 12,999, $179 and £145 respectively. It has upgraded internals and is available for purchase in UK on Amazon website while it will go on sale in India tonight exclusively on Flipkart.

Moto G 2nd Gen will be powered by same 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 chipset with 1GB RAM, though the Display is now bigger at 5-inch although resolution remains unchanged at 720p.

The biggest change is inclusion of external card slot along with 16GB internal memory and stereo speakers like Moto E. It carries on same exception curved poly carbonate design that we loved in Moto series.

Moto G 2nd Gen camera has also seen an upgrade which is now 8-megapixels only capable of 720p video capture. The front camera is unchanged at 2-megapixels and Moto G 2nd Gen runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Moto G 2nd Gen will come with Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi-Hotspot as connectivity options. Though Dual SIM pricing and availability in UK are not confirmed, but Indian version will carry Dual SIM.

Moto G 2nd Gen will be available in UK at a price of £145, India at a price of ₹ 12,999, USA at a price of $179 and in France for €190. It carries the same 2070 mAh found in original Moto G.
