Android L leaked for Samsung Galaxy S5
At Google I/O 2014 Android L developer preview for Nexus 5 was unveiled and now a build for Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) has been leaked. The leak is quiet unstable so do not expect download links as the source didn’t want user moaning.
This update goes with the build number LRW58J and is currently very early preview. It is Touchwiz skinned and does run on supposedly faster ART runtime over Dalvik. Although it ran slower than Kitkat given the Alpha nature which requires lots of bug fixes and optimization.
The update brings in plethora of changes with lots of changes in color scheme yet it isn’t complete material design that Google wants to deliver with Android L. This might change if Samsung wants to in future but as of now don’t keep hopes too high.
Most of the in-built apps like Dialer, Messages, Memo, Clock are designed from scratch as per Android Material Design guidelines although the butter smooth animations are yet to be added in recipe. The presence of Samsung clipboard is carried forward and support for heads up notification to aid games and multimedia consumers is present.
A host of screenshot are available for your delight at Samfirmware who were kind enough to leak the exclusive Android L build.
