HTC Desire Eye with 13megapixel front camera official
HTC is quiet known for exciting experiments with camera and the latest one is inclusion of 13-megapixel front and 13-megapixels rear camera in HTC Desire Eye.
HTC Desire Eye runs on Sense 6 Android 4.4 and has a beautiful 5.2″ FullHD Display. The processor inside this massive beast is Snapdragon 801 coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and further 128GB with microsd cards.
HTC Desire Eye main USP is its front camera which has wider lens than rear camera. the front camera has 20mm lens with f/2.2 aperture, while rear camera has 28mm lens with f/2.0 aperture. Both the camera’s have Dual LED flash, microphones and capable of 1080p video capture.
The Desire Eye features new Sense software and two camera-centric apps – Eye Experience and the new Zoe. These apps will also be rolled out to HTC One (M7), HTC One (M8), HTC One (E8), HTC One mini, HTC One mini 2, HTC One Remix, HTC One Max, HTC Desire 612, and HTC Desire 816 in coming months.
Desire Eye has certain cool features inbuilt like split capture that take 50-50 pics from and back camera. There’s also a crop-me-in mode which can capture from both camera and crop you to the background.
HTC Desire Eye is also featuring LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, NFC and a microUSB port. There’s also waterproofing with IPX7 certification.
The trademark HTC BoomSound speakers are also present for stereo sound although don’t look prominent like they do on HTC One series. This device measures just 8.5mm and comes with 2400mAh battery.
HTC Desire Eye is to be AT&T exclusive for limited time. More launch and prices details will be unveiled soon but by the specification its going to cost $649 unlocked and $199 locked as per our assumption.
