Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus official with improved Snapdragon 805 SoC
Samsung the leading smartphone giant is known to launch several variants of flagship to keep up with latest trend in technology. With introduction of Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus G901F, Samsung wants the world to get their hands on better improved CPU.
Everything else is same except the replacement of Snapdragon 801 SoC with that of Snapdragon 805 SoC which brings better performance with Quad Core Krait 450 clocked at 2.5GHz, improved Adreno 450 GPU and LTE Cat. 6 which is now capable of delivering speed upto 300mbps compared to 150mbps.
The features that remains unchanged are same brilliant 5.1″ FullHD AMOLED Display, 2GB RAM, 16-megapixels ISOCELL Camera with dual tone flash and 4k recording, 16GB internal memory and 2800mAh battery. The phone is still waterproof and dustproof with IP67 rating and there is no difference in design.
In terms of sensors and connectivity this device has got it all covered. It houses a long list of sensors including Heart Rate Sensor, Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, Hall, RGB ambient light and not to forget an IR Blaster to turn your smartphone into all in one universal remote. The connectivity options are also abundant with 4G LTE CAT 6, MIMI 2×2, Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0. There’s also a fingerprint sensor just like on Galaxy S5 under the home button which work by swiping finger over home key.
Currently the improved Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus can be purchased only in Netherlands with more countries set to receive it in next couple of weeks. There is no change in price and Galaxy S5 Plus will replace existing Galaxy S5 and will come in same Black, Blue, White and Gold colors.
