Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 priced ₹ 20,900


Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 SM-G750F has finally reached Indian shores today. Galaxy Mega 2 is currently available in India through Samsung e-Store and soon it will be available in retail outlets and various other etailers websites. Currently Galaxy Mega 2 is priced at RS 20,900 ($341) and will compete with Sony Xperia T2 Ultra which retails at RS 25,990 ($424).

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has a massive 6″ display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels containing 245 pixels per inch. It also comes with 1.2 GHz Qualcomm A7 quad-core processor and 1.5 GB RAM. The internal memory is 8 GB with MicroSD card slot supporting additional 64 GB.

Galaxy Mega 2 will run on Android Kikat 4.4 with Samsung customized Touchwiz UI on top. It also features one hand usage to facilitate users in easy operations with single hand in such a big screen. The optics department features a 8-megapixels with LED Flash supporting video capture upto 1080p at 30 frames per second. The front camera is no less with 5-megapixels it can surely add extra punch of details to your selfies.

The connectivity options in the device are Bluetooth 4.0, GPS along with A-GPS and GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz and support for HSPA+ upto 21mbps on 850/900/1900/2100 network bands and 2G on 850/900/1800/1900 network bands. Galaxy Mega 2 is single sim device and doesn’t feature LTE in Indian market. It is just 8.6 mm thick and weighs 194 grams.

Apart from usual specification Galaxy Mega 2 has S Voice, S Browser, Screen Mirroring, Ultra Power Saving Mode and Quick Connect applications for making day to day usage simpler. Moreover Samsung Group Play, Story Album, S Health and Smart Switch are supported and available to download from Samsung Store bundled in device.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is a decent spec’d phablet with affordable price tag and is sure to attract those who like big screens on their phones. It is available in Black and White color options.
