Microsoft branded Lumia 535 Officially launched

Earlier last month all was known that Microsoft will eradicate Nokia name from smartphones in favor of new Microsoft branding and Microsoft Lumia 535 is first handset to feature Microsoft branding.

Lumia 535 is almost identical to its predecessor in terms of design but host a huge improvement by diluting the weakness. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and has a 5” IPS Display with qHD resolution(960 x 540 pixels). Its display has Gorilla Glasss 3 and enhanced sunlight readability.

The chipset is same Quad Core Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2GHz, while the RAM inside is 1GB with 8GB internal memory. It also has an external microSD card slot. Lumia 535 also features 5-megapixels camera sensors both in back and front with rear camera now ready with LED flash.


So Lumia 535 has everything Nokia 530 has been missing. It is also not so thick at 8.8mm and weighs just 146grams. In terms of connectivity it has Dual SIM(Optional), 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

It comes in different colors just like every other Lumia handset and features a 1950mAh battery. While it is priced at €110 before any tax or subsidy. It will be launched in European and Asian markets starting next week.
