Android Lollipop for Motorola

Verizon Moto X 2014 is the latest handset to receive Android Lollipop 5.0. Moto X 2014 unlocked already received Android Lollipop 5.0 along with Moto G 2014 few days ago and its now carrier variants getting the update.

Of course the update will change the way your Moto X looked like all thanks to Material Design introduced by Google. There will be huge performance boost also as Android 5.0 by default runs on Android Run Time instead of Dalvik which results in faster app loading, lower memory consumption but the only downside is large file installation consuming more storage.

Android Lollipop will also bring an all new setup which helps to even get your application data and one touch transfer of data using NFC and WiFi Direct. The much needed boost in battery life is also gained due to hard work of Google on Project Volta.

In case you are a Verizon Moto X 2014 owner and haven’t received the update then go to settings> About Phone> Software Update and check for updates. As updates are rolled out in phases to reduce server load try after a day or two again if you don’t see an update.
