Google is rolling out Android Lollipop 5.0 gradually to Google Play edition devices after updating Nexus series and latest device to receive the update is LG G Pad 8.3. Google or LG are yet to announce the update officially but various users across popular social network and forum like Twitter and XDA reported the update has just arrived on their G Pad.

Currently the exact changelog is not available butthe update notification mentions the usual Android 5.0 features, like a bold new visual style, lock screen notifications, battery saving mode, Priority Mode, and Smart Lock. So expect complete stock Android Lollipop 5.0 with some device specific tweaks.

As we all know Google rolls out updates in batches with just 1% of users getting update in first 48hrs and after that 25% for a week and rest others shortly there after to prevent massive load on servers and to possibly prevent mass scale user uproar against few niggle left unattended. This can be viewed as testing period of final build in real life.

So if you own a LG G Pad GPe make sure to check for updates and you are about to taste lollipop sweetness this week.
