Xiaomi has good news for their fans and their hot selling Redmi 1S is going to be back on sale again on 8th December again on Flipkart which also marks the beginning of Flipkart App Day sale which will go on for about a week and offer exclusive discounts to consumers shopping using mobile apps.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S sale this time doesn’t require registration and will be directly available for sale on 8th December starting early morning so make sure to keep an eye on Flipkart on 8th December if you need to buy this smartphone.

Although Redmi 1S have better specifications than Moto G for virtually half the price it isn’t exactly worth the money given the smartphone performance. It still runs on Jellybean 4.3, most part of user interface is Chinese and the phone is quiet heavy. Moreover the disappointing MIUI UI is even heavier than Touchwiz UI which makes multitasking on this phone an unpleasant experience.

Thought their are some great points too as this smartphone has a brilliant camera not present in any other smartphone in this price segment and sharp display. Micromax Canvas A1 and Unite 2 are some of alternatives each with their own flaws. Nokia X2 is also decent choice but it too won’t be supported in terms of software in coming future. Huawei Honor Holly is another great device but it’s display is not that great and feels cheap.

Overall buying either of above devices is good as their’s no best overall phone Nokia X2 excels in performance, display and build quality, Micromax Unite 2 has decent display and performance, Redmi 1S has brilliant display and camera and sub par performance even with better hardware than competitors. But best of all is Huawei Honor Holly with eeverthing working good except the display.
