Samsung Galaxy series has been enjoying success in budget segment until last year when a series of budget smartphone launches wrecked havoc on Samsung mid rangers and to combat fierce competition Samsung has put forth a great device at just the right price to gain some fans back.

Galaxy Core Prime with model number SM-G360 looks just like a normal Samsung device in terms of device and is quiet similar to Galaxy S5 feel. It brings Android Kitkat 4.4 along with TouchWiz UI and 4.5-inch WVGA 480 x 800 pixels resolutions display. The processor inside is 1.2GHz Quad Core coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. Additional storage option is also present using microSD memory chips.

It also brings the LTE connectivity as India is gearing for launch of 4G LTE sometime in early 2015 and buying these device will make sure you don’t need to switch to new handset if you need to try 4G. There’s a 5-megapixels rear camera with flash and 2-megapixels front camera along with support for video calling.

In terms of connectivity it features 4G LTE, HSPA+, 3G, 2G, Dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is also thin at just 6.9mm with 13.1 x 0.9 cm for length and breadth. Galaxy Core Prime is definitely a good buy but is priced a wee bit higher considering competition but Samsung service and trustworthiness can’t be matched by others so overall Galaxy Core Prime is a good device for its price and is available starting ₹ 9380 on eBay.in and ₹ 10,200 on Amazon.in.
