Vivo X5 Max is just 4.75mm Thick and World’s Slimmest Smartphone
World is an ever changing place, especially the technology field where every day something new is knocking at doors, and Vivo X5 Max is the prime example of the fact. It is now World’s Slimmest Smartphone outdoing Oppo R5 in terms of waistline by just 0.1mm and is just 4.75 mm thick.
Vivo X5 Max although being slim doesn’t mean it isn’t smart enough with Snapdragon 615 Octa Core 64 bit CPU (1.7 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 and 1.0 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit), 5.5-inch FullHD Super AMOLED Display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolutions, 2GB RAM, Dual SIM and SD card slot which can be only used in case you don’t use second SIM, there’s hardly something you would be compromising.
It also has a Sony IMX214 13-megapixels rear camera sensor along with LED flash which forms part of various flagship and a 5-megapixels front facing aka selfie camera. It also manages to outdo R5 by incorporating a 3.5mm headphone jack so you don’t need an extension. Though Vivo X5 Max is slimmest smartphone it features big bezels which doesn’t complement the design but that’s part of deal as everything can’t be 100% perfect.
Vivo X5 Max runs on Android 4.4.4-based Funtouch OS 2.0 with a planned Android Lollipop update and it features Yamaha YSS-205X chip which is supported by a Karaoke app present on device and it also supports HiFi 2.0 for exceptional audio experience. Vivo X5 Max will be up for sale starting CNY 2,999 or $485 and will be available from 22nd December in China, while the launch date for India is unknown the expected price is somewhere near to INR 25,000.
