Android One coming soon to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka
Google Android One devices were moderately successful in India and overpriced in UK, and now Android One handsets will mark their debut in other South Asian Countries which include Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Similar to Indian market all the initial three devices Karbonn Sparkle V, Micromax Canvas A1 and Spice Dream Uno will be available in Nepal and Sri Lanka, but Bangladesh will also receive an addition handset from local brand Symphony named Roar A50.
Features remains the same of all four handsets with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, 4.5-inch Display, 1.3GHz Quad Core Mediatek CPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB Internal Memory, Dual SIM, WiFi, 5MP Rear Camera with Flash, 2MP Front Camera and 1700 mAh battery.
Soon more handset manufacturers and carriers are going to join the initiative in other countries, and due to software upgrade policy Android One handsets definitely have an upper hand. Moreover pricing is very important and all these devices will be priced sub $100 to make sure it reaches the masses.
