HTC Desire Eye available in India priced INR 35,990
HTC Desire Eye brings the flagship charisma HTC once had in Desire lineup. It is still not as astounding as the metal unibody HTC One series but is a killer device in its own right way and now the device has entered India soil at a price of INR 35,990 ($597).
HTC Desire Eye is powered by Android Kitkat 4.4.4 with Sense 6.0 UI. It packs a 5.2-inch FullHD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Snapdragon Quad Core 801 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and support for 128GB via external micro SD cards.
The main selling points of Desire Eye is its unibody polycarbonate design with dual tone coloring giving it a refresing look and its 13-megapixels with Dual LED flash both in front and back making it a must have for selfie lovers. Apart from brilliant camera it comes with Eye Camera software enhancement making photography and editing easier and it is also water resistant and dust proof with IPX7 certification.
In terms of connectivity, it packs 4G LTE, HSPA+, 3G, WiFi dual band 5.0GHz a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, DLNA, GPS, WiFi Hotspot and Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP and apt-X. A 2400 mAh li-ion battery keep it up and running, while the device measures 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm and is 154 grams heavier.
HTC Desire Eye was announced in October for Indian market but it is available now in retails market across India with a price tag of INR 35,990 but the street price is already lower by about 1000-2000 bucks. It is well placed in between One E8 and One M8 Eye.
