HTC is not good at keeping secrets and the next gen flagship has been spotted by @upleaks in Antutu Benchmark which confirms most of the rumored specification of HTC upcoming flagship.
The device codenamed Hima is well known to be HTC next flagship and it is evident in benchmark listing that HTC will stick to 5-inch 1080p display and won’t go for QHD display as it would result in marginal improvement in viewing experience but will severely impact battery and processing power.
HTC is also relying on Snapdragon 810 64bit Octa Core SoC coupled with 3GB RAM. HTC will also carry over its uni-body metallic design along with Boomsound stereo speakers. Moreover the upcoming HTC hero device will bring in massively improved 20.7-megapixels to rear and 13-megapixels in the front. It is still a waiting game as far as depth sensor and front camera flash are concerned.
With the spec sheet next gen HTC flagship is surely bound to attract, but HTC need to bring something new to table along with a beastly spec’d device so it can distinguish itself from competition. Though HTC design and Sense UI along with Boomsound have been front runner in past its time HTC 1’up their game.
