HTC plans to jump back to Life in 2015 with Surprises
HTC has recently got back on track by creating some of great looking and well spec’d devices, but that didn’t help much as the bad name earned by Sensation series still haunt users and has been a deterrent in driving customers away. With recent success of One series devices and few good Desire devices HTC finally is doing most of things right.
Jeff Gordon, HTC’s Senior Global Online Communications Manager, in a tweet mentioned “HTC’s 2015 roadmap will be our best ever–with some huge surprises that will blow you away. ;)”. Although every communication manager is optimistic we have reasons to believe HTC’s Jeff Gordon as HTC has consistently improved and innovated in past two years.
Finally HTC is now ready to battle the war of smartphones and in HTC 2015 lineup the first knight is going to be HTC metal clad One M8 successor currently code-named Hima featuring top of line specs including Snapdragon Octa Core 64-Bit 810 SoC, 3GB RAM, 20.7-megapixels rear camera, 13-megapixels front camera and usual HTC wizardry including BoomSound, Sense 7 and HTC Eye camera experience.

Other than maintaining lead in flagship segment HTC is focusing heavily on mid-range market dominated entirely by Samsung, Sony and Chinese vendors with some innovating products and sensible pricing HTC can make a difference, but if HTC try to position itself as the premium vendor and devices are priced way up then competition then it won’t be making much of difference. Anyways lets wait and watch who dominates New Year is it Samsung, HTC or Apple or the new Chinese and Local vendors who have consistently being causing ripples.
