Samsung has launched four new handsets in India market under new naming policy to avoid confusion. Tee handset launched are Galaxy E5, Galaxy E7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 and the pricing starts at INR 19.300.
Galaxy E series lacks LTE connectivity. The cheapest smartphone among the lot, Galaxy E5 features a 5-inch HD SuperAMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot, 8-megapixel primary camera with flash, 5-megapixel sefie aka front camera, and a 2,400 mAh li-ion battery.
The big brother, Galaxy E7 sports a 5.5-inch HD 720p SuperAMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel primary camera with flash, 5-megapixel secondary camera, and a massive 2,950 mAh battery. Both the devices are slim at just 7.3mm while carrying a good capacity battery. They also feature Hybrid dual-SIM card slots, and run Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung proprietary Touchwiz UI.
Both devices are targeeting youth hence a 5-megapixel selfie cam is feature loaded with wide-angle selfie, selfie voice command, selfie with palm gesture, and Beauty Face. E5 is priced at INR 19,300 while the E7 will set back INR 23,000.
Samsung also launched previously announced Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 at a price of INR 25,500 and INR 20,500 respectively. All these devices comes in several color options and will be available from 20th January.
