Samsung Ultra Slim Galaxy A7 Official, is just 6.3mm Thick
Looks like every manufacturer is keen on producing Ultra Slim handset’s, be it Oppo R5, Vivo X5 Max or Asus Zenfone 2 and now Samsung has launched an Ultra Slim handset, Galaxy A7 with just 6.3mm thickness.
The Galaxy A7 will feature a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC or 32-bit Exynos 5430 solution depending on the countries. Both chipsets have octa-core CPU with 1.5GHz quad A53 + 1.0GHz quad A53 for the Snapdragon 615 and 1.8GHz quad A15 + 1.3GHz quad A7 for the Exynos 5430. Its RAM is 2GB and internal memory is 16GB with option for further expansion.
It also houses a 5.5-inch HD 720p Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There’s a 13-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixles selfie cam in the front. It will naturally come with Touchwiz UI on top of Android Kitkat 4.4.4 with Lollipop update upcoming real soon.
The device seems to be quite decent in terms of specification and will be decent alternative to Samsung Galaxy Alpha. In terms of connectivity it packs 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and DLNA. It has a decent 2600 mAh li-ion battery and weighs just 140 grams.
Currently pricing is unknown and the device is promised to be launched with competitive pricing. It will be available in Dark Blue, White and Gold colors.
