Huawei Honor 4C Official in China priced just $129
Huwaei has been working hard lately to stay up with competition and their latest launch indicate positive signs. Huawei Honor 4C looks just like its elder Huawei Honor 4X but in terms of hardware it is miles ahead.
Honor 4C has an almost bezel less 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolutions making it compact and easier to hold. It also has 64-bit HiSilicon Kirin 620 Octa Core SoC clocked at 1.2GHz or Snapdragon 615 Octa Core SoC with 4 x 1.0GHz + 4 x 1.5 GHz, though it runs on Android Kitkat 4.4, which is not optimized for 64-bit architecture with EMUI V3 customization. It has 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory with external card slot supporting additional storage via microSD card slot.
The optics department is sufficiently balance with 13-megapixels rear camera with LED Flash and 5-megapixels front aka selfie camera. WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Glonass and USB OTG are among the other supported function, along with most important LTE and Dual SIM connectivity. The important thing to notice is the patterned back panel similar to Honor 4X and almost similar button layout. It is slim with just 8.8-mm thickness but same cannot be said for weight as it is 167-grams which is considerably heavy for a 5-inch device with just 2550 mAh battery. For comparison sake Mi4i has a massive 3180-mAh battery and is still weighing 130-grams.
Huawei Honor 4C will be available in China and will soon step foot outside of domestic market by May end. In China it is priced CNY 799 for China Unicom and China Mobile variant, CNY 899 for China Telecom variant and CNY 999 for 4G support on both SIM for China Unicom and China Mobile variant. One can pre-order it now from either tmall or vmall. It is also available in host of colors which are Black, White, Blue, Gold and Pink. It will be available soon in India and will be priced below INR 8,500.
