India has been the new battleground for Chinese vendors, as demand for value for money devices is on the rise is world’s second largest populated country. Latest vendor to set foot in India is Meizu, and Meizu m1 Note is going to be available exclusively through from 20th May.

Meizu was planning to enter Indian market in April but due to some roadblocks launch got delayed. Meizu m1 Note brings 5.5-inch FullHD 1080p IZGO display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Its design seems largely inspired by iPhone 5C with same type of poly-carbonate unibody.

Under the hood Meizu m1 Note features 64-bit Mediatek MT6752 Octa Core SoC clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes in two variants one with 16GB and another with 32GB, sadly both miss the external card slot. m1 Note runs on heavily customized Android Kitkat 4.4.4, nicknamed Flyme OS by Meizu.

In the optics department a 13-megapixels rear camera sensor from Samsung with f/2.2 lens, Blue glass IR filter, and Dual-tone LED flash keeps the shutterbugs happy. While the 5-megapixels front camera with f/2.0 wide lens keeps selfie addict pouting.

If that was not all dual sim connectivity with Cat 4 LTE support on SIM 1 and 2G support on SIM 2 with Dual standby, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0 are also present. There also a massive 3140-mAh battery for long lasting battery backup. Still it manages to be slim at 8.9mm and light with just 145-grams of weight.

Meizu m1 Note Color

Meizu m1 Note will be exclusively available through in White, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink color options. Pricing details are yet to be announced but it will be official on 20th May at 2PM. We guess the 16GB variant will be priced INR 12,999 while the 32GB variant will be priced INR 14,999.
