Samsung Galaxy A7 now Available in US Courtesy Amazon
Samsung Galaxy A7, the premium looking mid-ranger from Samsung has now landed on US shores, all thanks to Amazon US. Currently Galaxy A7 is available contract free and will cost $440-485 depending on the color you opt for.
Samsung Galaxy A7 packs a 5.5″ 1080p SuperAMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for scratch resistance. It also comes with 64-bit Exynos 5 Octa 5433 clocked at 1.8 GHz paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The internal storage is 16GB, along with microSD card slot.
The device is slim and features real metallic frame, while the back panel is not removable with matte finish. It does feel light and premium, measuring just 6.3 mm thick, and weighing 141 grams. The optics department is well taken care of with 13-megapixels rear camera with LED Flash and support for 1080p video capture, and front facing camera is 5-megapixels to let those selfies flowing on social networks.
All the Samsung features from Touchwiz are present and currently the Android version is Kitkat 4.4.4, with an upgrade to Android Lollipop on the work. Other features include Dual SIM, 3G, dual band WiFi ac, GPS, Glonass, NFC and Blutooth 4.0. Sadly the 4G connectivity is not present for US markets.
Galaxy A7 can now be ordered via Amazon starting $ 440 for white color, $ 444 for Bluish Black color and $ 485 for Gold color variant.
