Lava Pixel V1 2nd Gen Android One Launched at INR 11,349
Lava and Google have partnered for the first time to launch second generation of Android One, and the first child from this relationship is named Lava Pixel V1. It is priced at just INR 11,349 (approx $190) in India and is now available via Flipkart.
Lava Pixel V1 is a refreshing new addition to existing Android One lineup with 5.5-inch HD 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage along with 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor. But the main USP of device is Android One which promises software upgrade for two more years, starting from launch date.
It currently runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 and will receive Android M update whenever it releases officially directly from Google.
Another interesting part of Pixel V1 is its imaging capabilities with 8-megapixels rear facing BSI camera sensor, interpolated to capture 13-megapixels images and 5-megapixels front facing camera, interpolated to capture 8-megapixels images.
In terms of connectivity it features all the major connectivity options including 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG. It also carries a 2650-mAh battery and is just 8.5-mm thick.
It will be available in White with Silver and White with Gold color exclusively for a short period via Flipkart and will be simultaneously available across all the major retail outlets in India at a price of INR 11,999.
