Samsung is one of the strongest competitor to Apple iPad’s and two new tablets from Samsung will get neck to neck with iPad Mini and iPad with similar 8-inch and 9.7-inch display.
The tablet with 8-inch Super AMOLED display with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution is named Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and comes with 64-bit Octa Core Chipset (quad 1.9GHz + quad 1.3GHz) following big.LITTLE architecture. There is 3GB RAM along with 32GB/64GB internal storage alongside option expansion slot.
The big brother packs a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and is named is named Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. It has the processor inside with same amount of RAM and storage as with Tab 8.0.
Both the Tabs feature 8-megapixels rear camera, 2.1-megapixels front camera, Fingerprint scanner, WiFi, and optional LTE connectivity. Currently Android Lollipop with Touchwiz on top is making this tablet smart. Samsung Tab S2 is unique with thickness of just 5.6-mm and Tab 8.0 weighs just 265g(Wifi)/ 272g(LTE) with 4,000-mAh battery, while Tab 9.7 weighs 389g(Wifi)/392g(LTE) with 5870-mAh battery.

Currently both the Tablets are expected to be available in Black and White color options starting next month in major markets with global rollout soon thereafter, while the Korean giant was mum on official pricing.
