Samsung is facing serious heat as Xiaomi, Yu, Huawei has all been launching great devices in entry and mid-range segment, and to gain back the market Samsung has launched two new devices Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 starting INR 11,999.
Both Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 run on latest Android Lollipop 5.1 with Samsung proprietary user interface, popularly known as Touchwiz UI. As these devices target young audience, therefore Samsung has included a snappy 13-megapixels camera with F1.9 aperture and front 5-megapixels camera with LED flash to capture great selfies even in night.
Another similarity between the two brothers is both come loaded with 1.5 GB of RAM and have same connectivity suite which includes 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
In terms of display both feature Super AMOLED display with Galaxy J5 featuring a 5-inch HD 720p display while Galaxy J7 feature a 5.5-inch HD Display. The processor on Galaxy J5 is Snapdragon 410 Quad Core 8916 SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz. On the other hand Galaxy J7 is more powerful with Exynos 7580 Octa Core SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz.
Samsung Galaxy J5 comes with 8GB internal storage in India and Galaxy J7 features 16GB of internal storage and are available in Gold, Black and White color options. Currently both are up for pre-order at INR 11,999 and INR 14,999 respectively on Flipkart.com.
