Sony has recently in a bid to cut cost streamlined their management and supply chain, and now to get back on track has launched a newly designed device following closely the Sony Xperia legacy.
Sony Xperia XA is a midranger featuring 5-inch HD 720p display. It now features metallic body instead of glass which supposedly made devices heavier and also features an edge to wdge display making device easier to hold.
The MediaTek MT6755 64-bit Octa Core SoC powers the devices coupled with 2GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage is 16GB which can further be expanded via microSD card slot upto 200GB.
The rear camera is Sony Exmor RS 13-megapixels promising to deliver amazing low light shots and 8-megapixels front camera with wide lens will help you capture detailed selfie.
Android 6.0 is topped off with Sony enhanchements and skin. In terms of connectivity it has both Single and Dual SIM model depending on your region and features 4G and other basic set of connectivity options. It features a 2300-mAh battery, which will help you get through the day.
Currently pricing is unknown but expect it to be priced at around $400 unlocked in Western Countries, €300 in European countries and INR 30,000 in India. It will come in four colour options named White, Graphite Black, Lime Gold, Rose Gold.
