Xiaomi or Mi which is popular amongst budget buyers for its devices which are priced way below than the competition and still offering a great overall smartphone has launched another phone in its Redmi series called as Redmi Note Pro.
Redmi Note Pro probably derives its name from Apple iPhone 7 Pro which is yet to be announced however has long been in rumors for its Dual Camera setup.
Similarly Redmi Note Pro features Dual Camera 13MP + 5MP in back which allows for post processing of photos like adjust the focus, have different effects on background and foreground and so on.
Redmi Note Pro comes with 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display, Mediatek Helios X25 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB inbuilt storage, 4G with VoLTE, Hybrid Dual SIM, Fingerprint scanner, USB Type CC and 4050 mAh battery.
The pricing of the handset is rather surprising as at CNY 1699 one can get 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage + Helios X25 variant while at CNY 1999 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM + Helios X25 variant is available.
An entry level unit with all goodies except the Helios X25 is available at CNY 1499 which features 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage and Helios X20 SoC.
All the variants will be available for sale in China on August 2nd. For those wondering about Indian launch don’t be excited as there is currently a ban on Xiaomi phones with Mediatek SoC and unless they have a Snapdragon variant ready hopes of Indian launch are grimm.
