What a day at MWC Nokia has unveiled Nokia’s entry to market and that too with bang.
Nokia 5 is the new mass market metal unibody device with 5.2-inch display with 720p resolution and 500nits of brightness. Also it will feature Nokia patented glass polarization technology which reduces reflection.
Under the beast is a Snapdragon 430 Octa Core SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Nokia 5 strongest point is it comes with pure Android 7.1 Noughat and Nokia specially promised regular updates.
Camera department is handled by 13-megapixels rear snapper with flash and phase detection auto focus, while the selfie camera is 8-megapixels wide angle 84 degree sensor.
Also it will have unlimited Google photo storage as pointed out by Google VP during announcement, well that shows Nokia commitment to Android.
Nokia 5 will come with Dual SIM and 4G VoLTE support. It will carry other common connectivity options. There is also a front mounted fingerprint scanner.
Nokia 5 will retail in European Markets at €189, in US at $199 and in India at ₹ 12,999. It will be available in April in Tempered Blue, Silver, Matte Black, Copper color options.
