Xiaomi is not known to provide platform updates, yet this time they have managed to roll out Android 7.0 Nougat to their star devices.
Android 7.0 will still be customised with MIUI 8 and users won’t be able to feel much difference due to the same interface from MIUI as before.
Though that doesn’t mean there won’t be under the hood improvements, as there will be significant optimisation of battery during standby mode, enhanced notifications, default support for VoLTE and much more.
