In 2017 Dual Camera smartphone are in trend and apparently Mi has caught the fever as well. Their latest entrant is a Dual Camera smartphone and is called Mi A1.
The not so unique name apparently is an abbreviation of Android One, a Google initiative to provide timely updates, so naturally it runs Android 7.1.2 out of box with Pure Vanilla Android.
Rest of the phone is just like Mi 5X. With 5.5-inch Full HD Display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage it ensures all the major checkboxes are ticked.
Interestingly the Dual Camera setup is just like the one found on iPhone 7 Plus with similar 12 megapixels dual sensors with different aperture it tries to capture depth to give the soft SLR styled background to your potraits.
The front camera is a 5-megapixel snapper which is just like one found in Redmi Note 4. The design is an exact copy of iPhone 7 series as well and the only exception at back is the Mi logo and fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity department is loaded as well with Dual Band WiFi ac, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi Hotspot, IR Blaster, 4G VoLTE, Dual SIM Hybrid slot and USB Type C. There is fingerprint sensor as well with 3080mAh battery.
Mi A1 will be available in Gold, Black and Rose Gold color options and will be available across multiple channels throughout India and in 35 more countries at a price of ₹14999($215 approx) and will go on sale on 12th September, 2017.
