ZTE Grand SII with Snapdragon 800 launched in India at ₹13,999
ZTE has launched the ZTE Grand SII in India with an exclusive tie-up with Amazon India. It will retail at ₹13,999 ($225) and given the specs it is no less than Mi3 which was huge hit in India. It also supports both GSM and CDMA networks so that’s a positive.
ZTE Grand SII runs on generation old Android Jellybean 4.2 which is disappointing. It has a 5.5″ Full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution IPS Display. There’s a powerful Snapdragon 800 MSM8674-1 Quad Core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory and there’s an external card slot too.
It has a 13-megapixels rear camera with LED Flash capable of 1080p video capture and 5-megapixels front camera which can capture some amazing selfies. The device is considerably slim with 7.7mm waistline and weighs just 118 grams which is a considerble achievement for a phablet.
Grand SII also features gloves mode,gesture controls, One-hand operations, kids mode and motion controlled features. It supports CDMA with 1xEV-DO Rev. B, 3G, HSPA+, 2G, WiFi b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth. It has a 2500 mAh battery and available only in silver color.
Unlike the global variant this version of ZTE Grand SII doesn’t feature Snapdragon 801 or 3100 mAh battery but Snapdragon 800 and 2500 mAh battery and don’t be confused when you search for specs on various websites.
