HTC launches Desire 826 with Ultrapixel front Camera and 64-Bit CPU
HTC is again on the roll and launching a new handset every now and then. HTC has launched the successor to Desire 820 in form of Desire 826 which is almost identical to older sibling.
Desire 826 and Desire 820 are almost similar except few difference in specs and design. The new Desire 826 doesn’t feature the protruding camera and is almost identical to older Desire 820. It has same chipset but clocked higher at 1.7 GHz, Ultrapixels front camera replacing the 8-megapixels front camera, higher resolution Full HD display and Android 5.0 with Sense 6.0 UI.
It carries same screen size 5.5-inch, Snapdragon 615 Octa Core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB Internal storage, upto 128GB external card slot and 13-megapixels rear camera. It also features HTC premium unibody design along with support for Cat 4 LTE. On the connectivity front it hosts WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and DLNA. It has the same old 2600 mAh battery.
In terms of software it carries over all the HTC enhancements like Sense user interface, HTC Eye Experience, HTC Boomsound with Dolby Experience and lots more. It is going to replace Desire 820 and will cost roughly the same at INR 25,990 ($400 approx) and will be available in Asia-Pacific region later this month.
